John Lewenauer is a Managing Director at Baird’s North Shore office, bringing with him more than 38 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout his career, John has provided both individual and corporate clients with strategic guidance, supported by thorough market analysis and in-depth research. As a recipient of Baird’s Chairman’s Council and Baird Only honors, John is recognized for his commitment to developing client-focused investment portfolios and consistently delivering superior service.
With a solid foundation in capital markets, John specializes in portfolio asset allocation, applying market-driven approaches and client-specific strategies across both equity and fixed income markets. In addition to investment management, he offers comprehensive tax and estate planning services, ensuring that his clients benefit from informed decision-making tailored to their unique circumstances. John's extensive knowledge and focus on personalized solutions have made him a trusted advisor, fostering decades-long relationships with clients who seek long-term financial success.
John earned his bachelor’s degree in finance with honors from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Outside of his professional responsibilities, John is actively involved in community service. He serves as vice chairman on the board of HEAR Wisconsin, a director of three charitable foundations, overseeing both research and the strategic distribution of funds to maximize their positive impact. John also manages personal real estate investments as well as serving as President of his subdivision’s homeowner’s association. John’s passion for vintage automobiles is reflected in his role on the board of the 190 SL International Group.
John has been married to his wife Linda for 40 years, and together they enjoy spending quality time with their adult children, Mark and Rachel.
He maintains FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
